2.1 Account Information
When you register, we collect:

- Name (from your Google or Discord account)
- Profile picture (from your authentication provider)
2.2 Matomo Analytics
We use Matomo, a web analytics service, to help us analyze and understand how our users interact with our website. Matomo uses cookies to collect non-personal, usage information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, and click patterns. This information helps us improve our services and user experience.
You have the option to disable Matomo tracking by clicking the "Disable Matomo" link in the footer of our website. Please note that no personal data is collected through Matomo; we only collect general usage information.
2.3 Songs Uploaded and Recorded
When you upload or record songs using our service, these files are stored on our servers and are associated with your user account. This allows you to access and manage your songs across different devices and platforms. We do not share your songs with third parties without your explicit consent.
2.4 Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your enquiry). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
3. PostHog Analytics & Session Recording
In addition to Matomo, we use PostHog for advanced analytics and session replay. This helps us understand how you use Plazmapunk so we can improve the experience.
What PostHog Collects:
- Page views and navigation patterns
- Feature usage statistics
- Performance metrics (page load times, etc.)
- Session recordings (with sensitive data masked)
Privacy Protections:
- EU Data Residency: All PostHog data is stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany
- Input Masking: All form inputs (passwords, emails, etc.) are automatically masked in session recordings
- No Cross-Site Tracking: We do not track you across other websites
Your Consent Choices:
For users in the EU/EEA, we request explicit consent before enabling PostHog analytics. You can manage your preferences at any time:
4. User Account and Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your user account and all associated data at any time. To do so, go to your account settings and select "Delete My Account." Upon confirming your request, your user account and all associated data, including your uploaded and recorded songs, will be permanently deleted from our servers. Please note that once your account and data are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
